Why choose volunteering at Whoopsadaisy?

You can work as an important part of a dynamic team.
You will gain hands-on experience working with children with physical challenges.
You will feel accomplished and appreciated, as you will enable us to provide the children with the 1:1 support they need; we simply couldn’t run our services without you!
You can expand your knowledge and skill base to support you in your future.
You will be an active member of the local community.

“This is your sign to don that volunteer vest that you haven’t worn since secondary school, because there is absolutely nowhere like Whoopsadaisy. The work they do is so valuable that you’ll see kids coming from all over Sussex.

You are surrounded by passionate, talented people, who love their work and make it an absolute joy.

You can see the kids progress even over the course of a few sessions. And it doesn’t matter how bad a day you’ve had, their excitement and joy at just working hard at something, and doing it surrounded by friends, are absolutely infectious (and more energising than a triple espresso!)

This is genuinely one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done, or i think i ever will do, and i design x-ray instruments for a living!”

Sophie North

Sophie is our newest member at Whoopsadaisy. She works alongside Zsofi mainly in the 5-12 sessions as well as in volunteer recruitment. She is dedicated to helping  children to reach their full potential.

She recently graduated in Childhood and Youth with Psychology at the University of Sussex, which included her dissertation on Conductive Education, inspired by her time volunteering with us at Whoopsadaisy.

When Sophie is not at Whoopsadaisy she enjoys spending time with her friends, shopping in The Lanes, painting, yoga, or windy walks along the beach.
